Women Match Officials Bound for Russia

Three Australian Match Officials will participate at the FIFA U20 Women’s Championship to be held in Russia. Tammy Ogston, Airlie Keen and Sarah Ho made the long trip to Domodovo airport, Moscow for the two-week tournament that starts on Thursday.

Three Australian Match Officials are currently refereeing at the FIFA U20 Women-s Championship held in Russia. Tammy Ogston, Airlie Keen and Sarah Ho made the long trip to Domodovo airport, Moscow.

This continues the girls' success in refereeing at top level tournaments including the Algarve Cup, Olympic Games and the AFC Championships recently held in Adelaide.

The tournament comprises of 36 officials from all around the world and FIFA view it as the ideal tournament to develop referees for the next FIFA Women-s World Cup in China in 2007.
