Football Federation Australia will be in Brisbane on Saturday to engage with key stakeholders as part of the Whole of Football Plan consultation process.
The Whole of Football Plan, which was announced by FFA CEO David Gallop in September during his ‘State of the Game’ address, aims to improve all levels of the sport, from the grassroots to the elite levels, to eventually make football the biggest and most popular game in Australia.
The consultation process will seek to gain insights from all stakeholders regarding all facets of football, including:
· Elite player and coach development
· National teams
· Community football
· Facilities development
· National competitions
· Fan connections
· Commercial revenues
Emma Highwood, FFA Head of Community & Women’s Football said “We have been pleased with the positive discussion at these events in other areas and look forward to Saturday in Brisbane. Queensland’s input into shaping our game for the future is very important”.
Football Queensland CEO, Geoff Foster said “This is a unique opportunity for all stakeholders in our game to share their view of its future directions. Regardless of whether they are affiliated with FFA, we welcome all members of the football community to attend this forum”.
The meeting will be held at Level 4, Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre, Kessels Road, Nathan at 10am on Saturday the 1st November.
