Voting page
Basic logic:
In the CMS you can find configuration article Voting configuration in Configuration category
- Short Headline field: comma separated YouTube video IDs
- Teaser Text: used as teaser text below main image at the top
- Link to External URL: 2 voting widget IDs separated by || (if you add || test at the end of this field as third value, it means the widget will be available only on testing URL, see below for more details)
- first id is main id
- second id is space id
- e.g.:
- Main Content: body text
- Header image: used as main image at the top (for desktop)
- Mobile image: used as main image at the top (for mobile and tablet) - if no mobile image is attached and header image is attached, this header image will be used for all layouts (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Teaser Image: used as secondary image at the bottom of the page
- basically you can switch on/off any part of this page, e.g.:
- if you want different main / secondary image, attach new images
- if you don't want main / secondary image to be visible, remove header (mobile) / teaser image attachment from this article (or just select another image type)
- if you don't want voting widget to be visible, remove content of Link to External URL field
- if you want different iframe URL, just update content of Link to External URL field with new URL
- if you don't want body / teaser text to be visible, remove content of Main Content / Teaser Text field
How to test voting widget on live site without affecting live page:
- You can test voting widget when you add || test after widget IDs in Link to External URL field (e.g. mr-space_image-poll-test || mass-relevance-all-access/image-poll-test || test)
- Then you need to append /testvoting/true to the URL, e.g. www.a-league.com.au/hyundaigfvote/testvoting/true
- In that case voting widget will be visible only on this URL, but it won't be available on the standard live page for users www.a-league.com.au/hyundaigfvote
