Mile Jedinak has earned bragging rights over Caltex Socceroos team-mate Massimo Luongo in the English Championship.
Fresh from leading Australia in their World Cup qualifiers against Iraq and UAE, Jedinak played a full 90 minutes as his Aston Villa side beat Luongo's QPR 1-0 in their Championship clash at Villa Park.
Luongo also played the full game, having missed his side's 1-0 loss to Derby on Saturday.
Jonathan Kodjia scored the winner after just five minutes.
It was the Ivorian striker’s 18th goal of the season.
It's Aston Villa's fourth straight victory and fourth game without conceding. It sees them now 11th in the Championship.
QPR remain 15th after back-to-back losses.
