Victory and Roar TFA summer clinics
Children in Melbourne plus the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast’s in Queensland get the chance to meet some of their heroes in the coming weeks, as part of the Hyundai A-League summer Telstra Football Anytime program.
Parents can still register their children for the special Melbourne Victory and Queensland Roar summer Telstra Football Anytime programs, with participants able to meet the players from both clubs at their respective programs.
Both programs will be conducted by Football Federation Australia, with the Queensland program being supported by the Sunshine Coast Football and Gold Coast Soccer.
The Melbourne program will be held at the Melbourne Grammar School grounds from January 23-25 and continues the great support that Melbourne Victory has given the Telstra Football Anytime program.
“Melbourne Victory FC have been a tremendous supporter of Telstra Football Anytime throughout 2006 and have given many participants the opportunity to demonstrate the program during Victory home matches,” said Victorian Community Football Programs Coordinator Kate Vrljic.
The Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast-s programs in Queensland, will commence on Monday January 22 and go through till Wednesday January 24.
QLD Community Football Programs Coordinator, Phil Hazlett, said: “For just $66, kids will have a fantastic football experience as well as receiving their own kit of equipment at the conclusion of the program, which includes a Nike football.
“Telstra Football Anytime allows the children to play the game through small-sided games and other fun activities,” Hazlett added.
Places at all centres in this program are strictly limited and parents are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible.
