Football Federation Australia is saddened to learn of the passing of Football Mid North Coast Board Member Alex Amon.
Alex will be remembered throughout the Northern NSW and Mid North Coast football communities as a dedicated advocate for football, the sport he loved.
Alex could always be found around the grounds across the Mid North Coast, working tirelessly as a volunteer and putting in the hours to ensure regional players were given a chance not only in football but across all sports.
As a member of Football Mid North Coast’s Board for four years, Alex was also working locally as a sports reporter with ABC Mid North Coast.
Sharing Alex’s passion for football is his son Harry who plays for Football Mid North Coast in the Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) Metropolitan.
Football Federation Australia extends its condolences to Alex’s wife Luisa and children Harry and Rose.
