Football Federation Australia is pleased to announce that the Telstra Football Assistance Fund will be continuing in 2006 with another $200,000 worth of football equipment to be made available to community clubs. The scheme, made possible through the generous financial support of Telstra, aims to assist clubs in the provision of quality football equipment essential for the effective development of young players.

In 2005, a total of 933 football clubs applied to the Telstra Football Assistance Fund throughout Australia, with 206 junior clubs successful in the gaining equipment. Whilst details for the 2006 Telstra Football Assistance Fund are yet to finalised, the application process will be similar with clubs being asked to apply during the month of July. Clubs who are successful in obtaining equipment will then receive it in late January and February 2006.
