Telstra Football Anytime hits Launceston!

Telstra Football Anytime hit Launceston for the first time last weekend during half time at the Melbourne Victory vs Adelaide pre-season cup game.

It wasn-t the World Cup, but it might as well have been for 30 aspiring young footballers, taking to the field with loads of energy and flair during half time at last weekends pre-season A-league game between Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United at Aurora Stadium in Launceston.

To celebrate the kick off of TFA in Launceston, the primary school children took part in three small sided games on the main field at half time. They displayed so much enthusiasm and talent that they nearly stole the show from the main event. Aside from some remarkable goals, passes and tackles, the children-s passion for football was very clear with many of them wanting to continue playing after half time!

For more information about the day, please see the attached article from the Hobart Mercury.

A special thank you goes to the Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Association (NTJSA) for their assistance on the day, especially with the half time entertainment and for providing volunteers for the event.
