Queensland-s 3-0 win over the Australian Capital Territory puts it on nine points and a draw in the final game of the round robin series against Western Australia will ensure its place in the finals.
Two goals from Lisa Wilkinson and one from Elise Neumann, who is now the Under 15-s leading goalscorer secured the win.
In the other group B game, Northern NSW put four past a hapless Tasmania, to move into second position on the group table with six points from three games.
Leia Smith gave Northern a 1-0 half time lead, but goals to Emma Stevenson, Bonnie Miller-Tucker and Tara Philpot, saw Northern win comfortably.
In the Under 17-s Northern NSW also needs just one point from its final match to be part of the finals after a big 7-1 win over Tasmania in Group A. It now has 9 points and is five points ahead of its nearest challenger.
Renae McIntosh continued her good form in front of goal with a double, while Sophie Carey (5-), Leaha Guiffre (11-), Kara Sutton (28-), Debra Searle (49-) and Kerrin Lawn (79-) also scored. Carmen Oakley replied for Tasmania in the 51st minute.
Victoria moved into second position on the Group A table, with a hard fought 2-1 win over Country NSW.
Amy Jackson put Victoria ahead in the 22nd minute, however Renae McCanna equalised for Country NSW after 65 minutes. Andrea Totsidis scored the winner just before full time.
In Group B, it-s a very tight tussle with Western Australia, South Australia and the ACT all on six points.
Western Australia secured a comfortable 5-0 win over Northern Territory, with Ciara Conway leading the way with a double. Flo Tawns, Kylie Chatto and Laura Turnbull added the other goals.
South Australia made it two wins from two games, with a 2-1 win over the ACT. Alison Bralic and an own goal two minutes either of half time had South Australia in command before a penalty by Nicole Somi gave ACT some hope of securing a draw.
