The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini - convened to consider the following incidents from the Sydney FC v Western Sydney Wanderers FC (WSW) Round 2 match of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 Season:

An incident involving Vitor Saba (WSW) in or around the 69nd minute of the Match. The MRP has the authority to consider the incident as the Player was issued with a direct red card. The MRP confirmed that the Player will serve a suspension of one (1) match, being the minimum sanction for a R1 – serious foul play offence; and

An incident involving Sasa Ognenovski (Sydney FC) in or around the 69th minute of the Match. The Player has been cited for the incident and a show cause notice has been issued (the Notice). The Player has until 12:00pm Tuesday, 21 October 2014 to make submissions in response to the Notice. The MRP will reconvene tomorrow afternoon to consider the citation incident and any submissions filed by the Player or Team Official.
