The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) - consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Davidson and Alan Contini – convened to consider an incident from Round 17 of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 Season.
In or around the 71st minute of the match between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory on Saturday, 14 February 2015 an incident involving Sebastian Ryall (Sydney FC) occurred.
The MRP has referred the incident to the Disciplinary Committee to determine whether Ryall has committed an act of simulation leading to a penalty kick being awarded in error.
The Administrator appointed under the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations will convene the Disciplinary Committee to sit this week.
