The National Identifcation Championsips semi finalists have been decided, with Northern NSW, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria qualifying in the 15's, while in the 16's, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia will be vying for places in Saturday's grand finals.
The National Identifcation Championsips semi finalists have been decided, with Northern NSW, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria qualifying in the 15's, while in the 16's, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia will be vying for places in Saturday's grand finals.
Group winners were NSW and QLD in the 15's and will be strong favourites to advance to the final, while in the 16's NSW won its group rather easily in the end, although in the other group Queensland edged out Victoria on goal difference after finishing equal on ten points.
The biggest talking point of the Championships has been the improvement of the traditional smaller states/territories of Tasmania and Northern Territory. In the 15's, Tasmania competed strongly to finish in a play-off for 7th and 8th, while the Northern Territory's performance in the 16's also has seen qualify for the 7th and 8th play-off.
