National Performance at FFA
In addition to their performances at various FIFA World Cups and AFC Championships, FFA national coaches and coach education management at FFA are being recognised for their achievements.
Sean Douglas selected for Nippon SSU Coach Developer Program
FFA national coach education manager Sean Douglas was recently selected to attend the Nippon Sport Science University Coach Developer Academy (NCDA) course for coach developers.
More than 50 applications were received worldwide making selection for the program an extremely competitive process.
The academy offers a blended on-line and 2 x 1 week residential programme (September 2015 & February 2016) at NSSU in Tokyo and blended on-line support and e-modules.
Sean’s qualification will provide significant benefits in the advancement of coach development in Australia.

Ange, Popa in world magazine's top 50 managers
Ange Postecoglou and Tony Popovic have been recognised by global magazine FourFourTwo as two of the top 50 managers in world football.
In a huge nod to the talent of both coaches, Postecoglou came in at number 39 on the list, with Western Sydney Wanderers FC mentor Popovic at 45.
