In a massive accolade for Aaron Mooy the Caltex Socceroos star has been named in the English Football League Team of the Season at the prestigious EFL awards.
In his debut season for Huddersfield Town, Mooy has quickly found his groove.
He’s been a standout as they push for promotion to the Premier League, playing 39 games in all competitions, scoring four goals and setting up several more.
Mooy’s Huddersfield is currently third in the Championship with six games remaining before the playoffs.
The playmaker is looming as a key figure for Australia's crunch World Cup qualifier with Saudi Arabia in Adelaide this June.
