Melbourne City will have to overturn a poor recent record against Perth Glory if they are to take maximum points from their clash on Saturday night.
City have won just one of their last 11 meetings against Glory, with their last win in this fixture coming two years ago.
And even though second-place City head into this match on the back of a 2-0 win over Newcastle Jets last round, they may find it difficult to turn the tide.
Glory are the Hyundai A-League’s hottest team right now, having won a club-record six games in a row, a run that ironically started with a 3-0 win over City in Round 9.
Since then the defending Premiers have gone on to surge up the ladder, scoring 18 goals and conceding just two on their current winning streak.
With the likes of Fornaroli, Castro and Chianese on excellent form, they are sure to have plenty of confidence heading into this Super Saturday encounter.
