Jada Whyman helped AIK Fotboll secure a vital win that sees AIK lift above the automatic relegation zone in Sweden with two games to go. Emily van Egmond made her 100th NWSL appearance.
Meanwhile in the WSL, Arsenal picked up an important three points, while Mary Fowler continued her run of starts for Manchester City.

Brighton & Hove Albion became the first team to take a point off Manchester United this season, finishing with a 1-1 draw. Grace Clinton scored early to give United the lead in the first half, before a Nikita Parris strike just after the break levelled things up. The result means that Brighton sits in fourth heading into the international break.
Charlie Rule was unavailable for Brighton as she continues the final stages of her rehabilitation from a hip injury.
Manchester City were forced to come from behind to defeat Aston Villa 2-1. Brazilian forward Gabi Nunes gave Villa the lead in the first half – with one of their two total shots in the game - before second-half goals to Lauren Hemp and Jill Roord got City over the line.

Mary Fowler started and played the full match for City, continuing her good form for the league leaders. Alanna Kennedy was an unused substitute.
Crystal Palace secured yet another crucial point in their quest to stay in the league, drawing 1-1 with Liverpool. Katie Stengel scored early for Palace against her former side, before Cornelia Kapocs equalised in the first half. No goals in the second half meant that the game finished with honours even.
No CommBank Matildas featured in this match as Teagan Micah remains unavailable through injury for Liverpool.
Leicester City picked up their first three points of the season, defeating Everton 1-0. An 8th minute Yuka Momiki goal was the only one scored in the 90, with the Foxes managing to hold on to the lead for the rest of the game.
Courtney Nevin started and played the full match for Leicester at left-back, while Clare Wheeler did the same for Everton in midfield.
They were made to work for it, but two second-half goals meant that Arsenal defeated West Ham 2-0. The Hammers set up in a defensive block and nullified the Gunners for 70 minutes until Mariona Caldentey converted from the spot to give Arsenal the lead. Rosa Kafaji made sure of the result late in the match.

Steph Catley started the game at centre-back while Caitlin Foord started in the front line. Kyra Cooney-Cross was a 60th-minute substitute.
The final match of the round was an entertaining one, with Chelsea defeating Tottenham Hotspur 5-2. Spurs equalised after Chelsea took the lead early, and would have felt that they were in the game for large portions - but the Blues ran away with it in the second half.
Clare Hunt started in the heart of defence for Spurs, while Charlotte Grant was an unused substitute. Hayley Raso is unavailable due to injury.
Meanwhile, Sam Kerr remains unavailable for Chelsea as she continues her rehabilitation for her ACL injury.
France
Paris FC became the first team to take points off Lyon this season, walking away with a scoreless draw. Lyon dominated the match in terms of shots and possession but were unable to find a way through, and even could have conceded themselves at different points. The result has opened the door for PSG to head into the international break on top of the table.
Ellie Carpenter played the full match for Lyon at right-back, while Sarah Hunter was an unused substitute for Paris FC.
United States
The San Diego Wave were defeated 4-1 by KC Current, with their hopes of playing play-offs squashed. Current took a 2-0 lead going into the break thanks to a goal to Michelle Cooper and an own goal from Kailen Sheridan.

Current came out of the break right where they left off with Temwa Chawinga adding Current's third of the afternoon. Debinha sealed all three points for the home side with their fourth of the game. Delphine Cascarino added a goal for Wave in the dying minutes of the game but couldn't help Wave to any points.
Emily van Egmond started and played the full game, making her 100th appearance in the NWSL, while Kaitlyn Torpey also played the full game.
The Portland Thorns faced a narrow 1-0 defeat to Racing Louisville, with the Thorns still battling for a play-off spot with one regular season game left. Portland currently sits inside the top eight, and thus, has one foot in the play-offs, however, dropping points to 9th-placed Racing Louisville will leave the last game of the regular season open to which teams take the final spots.
Mackenzie Arnold was named to the bench for Thorns.
The North Carolina Courage faced a 1-0 defeat to Bay FC thanks to a goal from former North Carolina Courage player, Abby Dahlkemper in the dying minutes of the game. With Courage having already secured their spot in the post-season, this game served as a taste of what is to come in the play-offs.
Cortnee Vine was not named to the matchday squad.
Sweden
AIK Fotboll picked up a massive three points on the weekend, defeating Växjö DFF 3-1 and lifting themselves out of the automatic relegation zone with two games to go. They came out of the blocks quickly with three first-half goals and held on to the win from there.
They are now one point clear of automatic relegation, and four points away from avoiding the relegation playoff.
Jada Whyman started in goals for AIK and will be crucial for helping the side down the home stretch.
Kristianstads DFF have continued their good form, defeating Linköping 2-0. Goals to Hlín Eiríksdóttir and Tilda Tea Saga Sandén helped them to the two-goal victory.
Remy Siemsen and Clare Polkinghorne both started for Kristianstads. Amy Sayer remains unavailable as she rehabilitates from her ACL injury.
BK Häcken defeated Djurgården 2-1 on the weekend. Tabby Tindell was responsible for the winner in the 79th minute. Aivi Luik is unavailable for Häcken.
Denmark
FC Nordsjælland eased past Odense Q 2-0 to stay on top of the league table. Emmi Siren and Alma Aagaard were on the scoresheet for the defending champions as they headed into the international break with a win. Winonah Heatley started and played the full match.
Netherlands
FC Twente picked up an important win over the weekend, defeating Telstar 2-1. Jaimy Ravensbergen and Nikée van Dijk were the goal scorers as Twente held onto their early advantage. Daniela Galic was an unused substitute for Twente.
