Brighton & Hove Albion bounced back from last week’s defeat with a 3-2 victory over West Ham. The Seagulls took a two goal lead early in the second half thanks to goals from Rachel McLauchlan and Kiko Seike, before Katrina Gorry’s brace – her first goals in West Ham colours – restored parity.

Unfortunately for West Ham and Gorry, it would be Brighton’s Fran Kirby who scored the winner in the 82nd minute.

Gorry started the game for the Hammers but had to be withdrawn in the 74th minute due to a shoulder injury. Charlie Rule remains unavailable for Brighton.

Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 in the latest North London Derby. Alessia Russo, Frida Maanum and Stina Blackstenius all scored for the Gunners as they made light work of Spurs.

Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley both started for Arsenal, while Kyra Cooney-Cross was introduced to the game at half-time.

Clare Hunt and Hayley Raso both started for Spurs while Charli Grant was an unused substitute.

Chelsea picked up a massive victory on the weekend, defeating Manchester City 2-0 and going to the top of the WSL table. Mayra Ramirez and Guro Reiten were the goal scorers late in the second half.

Alanna Kennedy and Mary Fowler both started for City but were unable to contain a rampant Chelsea. Sam Kerr remains unavailable for Chelsea as she continues her ACL rehabilitation.

Manchester United defeated Leicester City 2-0 to consign the Foxes to equal bottom place on the table. Elisabeth Terland and Celin Bizet were the goalscorers as the Red Devils eased past their opposition.

Courtney Nevin started the match for Leicester at left-back.

In the second derby of the weekend, Everton defeated Liverpool 1-0 thanks to a controversial first-half penalty. Despite dominating possession and chances the Reds were not able to find the back of the net, and Katja Snoeijs conversion from the penalty spot was enough for Everton.
