Match Officials Added To Fifa International Panel

Four Hyundai A-League referees are part of a total of six Australian Match Officials that have been added to the FIFA International Panel, bringing the number in total to 24.

Four Hyundai A-League referees are part of a total of six Australian Match Officials that have been added to the FIFA International Panel, bringing the number in total to 24.

Peter Green (Queensland), Angelo Nardi (Western Australia), Simon Przydacz (pictured right - New South Wales) and Craig Zetter (South Australia) are the four Hyundai A-League referees that have added to the panel for 2006. The quartet join Matthew Breeze, Mark Shield and Ben Williams on the panel and bring to seven the number of Australian referees eligible to officiate men-s internationals. 

Shield and Breeze are amongst a total of 44 that have been short-listed for the final group of 30 referees that will officiate at the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006.  

In women-s football Amelia Morris and Allyson Flynn have been added to the FIFA panel for the first time as a referee and assistant referee respectively.
