Mary Fowler named in the PFA WSL Team of the Year

Mary Fowler has been selected for the 2024/25 PFA WSL Team of the Year, voted for by professionals across England’s top division, and named on the list for the first time in her career.

The 2024/25 season saw Fowler score six goals and record seven assists. The season saw her make WSL history, becoming the first player to notch at least two goal involvements in four successive matches.

Fowler was nominated for two awards at the PFA Awards, 2024/25 Women’s PFA Players' Player of the Year award, which Arsenal's Mariona Caldentey claimed, as well as PFA Young Player of the Year, which Canadian Olivia Smith was awarded.

Despite Fowler's season getting cut short with an ACL injury sustained in April, she was the only Manchester City player to hit double figures for goals and assists across all competitions.
