Jurman's Bluewings flying in K-League Classic

Fresh from watching his former side Sydney FC reach the Hyundai A-League final, Matt Jurman has helped his Suwon Bluewings to a second successive win in South Korea's K-League Classic.

The Bluewings have beaten second-placed Jeju United 2-1 to remain sixth in the 12-team league.

Brazilian striker Jonathan scored the winner with eight minutes remaining.

Fellow Aussie Aleksandar Jovanovic wasn't in Jeju's match-day squad.

But another Australian defender was on the end of a 2-1 K-League Classic defeat.

Connor Chapman started Incheon's home game against Ulsan Hyundai.

The former Jets and Melbourne City centre-back was booked after 80 minutes and replaced with two minutes remaining as Incheon searched unsuccessfully for an equaliser.

It was Incheon's fourth straight loss and leaves them bottom of the table after eight games.

In the second-tier K-League Challenge, Adrian Leijer has anchored a solid performance from Suwon City.

The former Victory defender played the full 90 minutes as his side saw off Daejeon 3-1 at home.

Fellow Aussie Bruce Djite didn't feature for Suwon City who have moved to third in the 10-team league.
