SD Raiders v Macarthur FC

Kick-off: 7.30pm AEST
Venue: Fairfield Showground
Broadcast: 10Play and the Football Australia YouTube Channel
Tickets

SD Raiders will hope to become the first state second-tier side to defeat an A-League Men’s team when they take on Macarthur FC at Fairfield Showground.

The Raiders took a difficult path to get to the Hahn Australia Cup Round of 32. They defeated NPL teams Wollongong Wolves, Rockdale Ilinden and Blacktown City on their way to reaching the national stage of the Cup for the first time.

They’ll now face their sternest test against defending Cup champions Macarthur. The Bulls had a disappointing A-League Men season, finishing outside the top six, but will be able to draw on their Cup experience as 2025/26 begins to ramp up.

For Macarthur, the Cup tie may be an opportunity to see players that have signed on scholarship contracts such as Zane Helweh, Will McKay and Sebastian Krslovic.

The Raiders come into the game in good league form, sitting only two points away from the top of the table. Noah Chianese is their top scorer this season and will be a key player for them on Tuesday evening.

Gold Coast Knights v Auckland FC

Kick-off: 7.30pm AEST
Venue: Croatian Sports Centre, Gold Coast
Broadcast: Paramount+
Tickets

NPL Queensland Premiers Gold Coast Knights will take on A-League Men’s Premiers Auckland City in a blockbuster clash under the lights.

The Knights have won at this stage twice, in 2021 and 2023. They’ve never pulled off a ‘Cupset’, though, and will be hoping to achieve that for the first time this year.

Auckland will hope to make a statement in their debut in the competition. They fell short in the finals series after a remarkable first season in the A-League Men, and will be hoping to improve their knockout game credentials as they grow into a new season.

Former Brisbane Roar player Rahmat Akbari will be a key man for the Knights as he faces A-League opposition once more.

Auckland may look to test out their youngsters in their first game of the lead-up to the 2025/26 season.

Western United v Sydney FC

Kick-off: 7.30pm AEST
Venue: Ironbark Fields, Tarneit
Broadcast: 10Play and the Football Australia YouTube Channel
Tickets

Western United will play host to Sydney FC in the second all A-League clash of the Round of 32.

It will be the first ever Hahn Australia Cup clash at Ironbark Fields, as John Aloisi’s men return to the Cup after missing out in the playoffs last season.

Sydney FC are one of the most successful teams in the competition, lifting the trophy twice in 2017 and 2023.

Exciting youngster Paul Okon-Engstler signed for Sydney this week and fans may get their first glimpse of the Young Socceroo in action on Tuesday evening.

Young Western United players such as Dylan Leonard will go out to impress in front of their home fans in the Cup.

Olympic Kingsway v Melbourne Victory

Kick-off: 7pm AWST (local), 9pm AEST
Venue: Olympic Stadium
Broadcast: 10Play and the Football Australia YouTube Channel
Tickets

Olympic Kingsway will face a gargantuan task in their second appearance on the national stages of the Hahn Australia Cup as the West Australian side takes on Melbourne Victory.

Olympic Kingsway is a historic Perth club that has existed for more than 60 years. They are currently a top team in NPL WA, sitting second on the table and qualifying for the last two years of the Australia Cup national stage.

They completed the league and State Cup double last year with a dramatic come-from-behind victory in the Cup.

They defeated Balcatta in a penalty shootout to reach this stage of the competition this time around, as part of a road to the Round of 32 that was full of goals and excitement.

Standing in the way of their advancement in the competition is 2024 Australia Cup and A-League Men Finalists Melbourne Victory.

They’ll be hoping to get their campaign off to a winning start and also perhaps introduce some youngsters that have been thrilling on the NPL stage such as Kayne Razmovski and Luka Kolic.
