Fox Sports celebrates 10 seasons with new signings

Socceroo greats John Aloisi and Ned Zelic will join Fox Sports’ coverage of this season’s Hyundai A-League which kicks off this Friday night.

Having been there since day one, Fox Sports will celebrate 10 years of the Hyundai A-League with live, uninterrupted and HD coverage of every match, world class presentation and a refreshed weekly line-up of football entertainment.

Tara Rushton returns for her second Hyundai A-League campaign, settling in to Sunday nights to host a new-look Shootout alongside the game’s biggest personality, Mark ‘Bozza’ Bosnich, and Socceroos heroes Aloisi and Zelic to review each round and look at the lighter side of the game.

Simon Hill, the undisputed modern-day voice of Australian football who has now called over 100 Socceroos matches, will once again spearhead the commentary team alongside the likes of Socceroos champion Robbie Slater and Andy Harper.

Fox Sports’ average audiences for the Hyundai A-League have increased by 71% since the inaugural season, with a cumulative gross audience of 66 million viewers since the opening match in 2005.

The landmark 2014/15 season gets underway this Friday, October 10, when Adam Peacock and his team of Harper, Mark Rudan and John Kosmina combine for Kick Off at 7pm EDT, before Melbourne Victory hosts two-time Grand Finalists Western Sydney Wanderers in the season-opening clash from Etihad Stadium.
