The CommBank ParaMatildas made it two wins from two in the 2025 IFCPF Women’s Intercontinental Cup, beating the Netherlands 6-2 to go to the top of the table.
Head Coach Alicia Ferguson opted for one change to the side that beat Denmark 5-1 yesterday, with Lainee Harrison coming into the Starting V to replace Trinity McPhie, while 17-year-old Annmarie de Uriarte took the armband for the clash, fresh off scoring a hat-trick in the opening game.
Promising signs early of what was to come for the game, with Harrison, de Uriarte and Georgia Beikoff going close to opening the scoring in under four minutes.
Annmarie de Uriarte continued her impressive form in the tournament, notching her first of the game. Blanshard and de Uriarte applied sustained pressure in the box, with the skipper finishing from close range.
Trinity McPhie and Tamsin Colley came off the bench, and Colley made an immediate impact. de Uriarte's cross from outside the box was unable to be dealt with, with Colley pouncing on the loose ball.

Michella Haas scored right before the interval for the Netherlands to see the teams head into the break at 4-1. Haas doubled her tally to start the second half, making it 4-2.
Quick-fire goals from Harrison and de Uriarte made it six for Australia with 10 minutes left of regular time. Australia now take on Nepal in their third game of the tournament.
