Socceroo striker Tim Cahill has been ruled out of the upcoming internationals against Germany and FYR Macedonia with an Achilles tendon injury.
Cahill has had a minor ongoing issue with his Achilles tendon and following today's club match for Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC, Socceroos staff decided it was best for Cahill to undergo rehab in China.

Cahill’s place in the squad has been taken by Swiss-based Oliver Bozanic, whose last appearances for the Socceroos were at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
