Bozanic's J-League side win at Kobe

There were mixed results for a quartet of Australian players in round nine of Japan's J-League over the weekend.

BOZANIC

Oliver Bozanic made a fifth appearance of the season for 12th placed Kofu.

The former Victory man entered the action with 20 minutes to go and helped his side close out a 1-0 win away at Kobe.

DEGENEK

There's been a second successive loss for Milos Degenek.

The Caltex Socceroos defender played a full 90 minutes as Yokohama F. Marinos were beaten 1-0 at home by Gamba Osaka.

Yokohama are 10th in the 18-team J-League.

DUKE

Mitch Duke's Shimizu have conceded three second half goals to lose 3-0 at home to Vegalta Sendai

The former Central Coast Mariners striker was introduced with 18 minutes remaining but couldn't find his side a consolation goal.

Shimizu are 14th on the table.

BURNS

Nathan Burns was an unused substitute as FC Tokyo beat Hiroshima 1-0 to claim a second straight victory and rise to fourth on the table.
