Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha has been cited under the FFA National Code of Conduct.
FFA has sought a response from Berisha, a Melbourne Victory player, in relation to conduct he is alleged to have engaged in after the Hyundai A-League Round 17 match between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory on 14 February 2015.
Berisha has an opportunity to provide a submission by 5pm on Monday, 23 February 2015.
The sanctions applicable for a breach of the National Code of Conduct include a reprimand, a fine and/or suspension from participation in a match or matches.
