Socceroos and İstanbul Başakşehir star Aziz Behich is helping deliver a legacy in Turkey that will extend beyond his playing days.
The 29-year-old Behich has teamed up with teammate and former Switzerland international Gökhan Inler's Sports and Education Foundation to provide educational supplies to children in the country’s remote towns and villages.
The dynamic fullback has taken to social media to show the latest fruits of his efforts, unveiling a library of books that has been named in his honour.

The post translates: "It is an incredible source of pride for me to contribute to the educational life of children, continuing education to thousands of children and education in difficult conditions far away from the center in Turkey, there are thousands of schools in villages."
"Unfortunately, they don't have the same equipment as a school in the center. In this context, we should put our hands under the stone and reach all the children and schools we can reach."
The Melbourne-born Behich is of Turkish-Cypriot heritage and undertook his own schooling at Gladstone Park Secondary College in the Victorian capital.
