One of Australia’s up and coming referees Ben Williams continues to be successful at the AFC U17 Championship in Singapore. This adds to other confederation appointments including the OFC appointments in 2005 and 2006.

One of Australia-s up and coming referees Ben Williams continues to be successful at the AFC U17 Championship in Singapore.

Ben was awarded the quarter final between arch rivals Saudi Arabia and Syria and proved a tough game to referee.

“I had a several cautions and one off. It was a tough match, but they all thought I had a good game.”

Ben has been retained as one of the last four referees and is in line to do either the 3rd v 4th place or the final.

This adds to other confederation appointments for him including the OFC appointments in 2005 and 2006.
