Australian Officials on Track for World Cup
Three Australian Officials Tammy Ogston, Sarah Ho and Airlie Keen have been chosen for a final selection course for the FIFA Women's World Cup to be held in China later this year.
Three Australian Officials Tammy Ogston, Sarah Ho and Airlie Keen have been chosen for a final selection course for the FIFA Women's World Cup to be held in China later this year.
The intensive programme at the Home of FIFA in Zurich, will prepare them for the biggest event in women-s world football. The objective of this initiative is to ensure that the match officials are in the best possible condition, which will in turn help to improve the quality of their performances.
At these sessions, the prospective match officials will take part in practical training sessions and also be asked to take theory tests on the Laws of the game as well as physical examinations and an English Language test.
The course will be held from the 7th to 11th May 2007.
