Luke DeVere and Joel Griffiths have both helped their clubs to victories in Asia.
Joel Griffiths complimented star striker Didier Drogba perfectly for Shanghai Shenhua as they decimated Hangzhou 5-1.
While Drogba was the star of the match netting a brace for the Chinese side, Griffiths played his part scoring once as well to help Shenhua to eighth position on the table, on a weekend where competition leaders and AFC Champions League quarter finalists Guangzhou Evergrande suffered a surprise loss to Guizhou Renhe.
Griffiths wasn't the only Aussie to find the back of the net over the weekend though, with Luke DeVere on target for Gyeongnam, helping them to move into eighth place in the K-League.
DeVere helping to seal the match when he scored for Gyeongnam two minutes into the second half of their match with Daegu.
Former Central Coast Mariners- captain Alex Wilkinson-s new club Jeonbuk Motors Hyundai still sit on top of the K-League after the latest round of games.
