Aussie star returns to action for Celtic

In fantastic news for the Caltex Soccereoos, Tom Rogic has made his return to top-flight football overnight in Scotland.

The playmaker – who was yesterday described by club boss Brendan Rodgers as a "Magic Man" – played half an hour off the bench in Celtic's 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle.

Rogic hasn't featured for nearly four months with recurring ankle problems.

English forward Scott Sinclair had the chance to seal all three points for Celtic but his second-half penalty was saved.

Rogic is Celtic's 'Magic Man'

Celtic remains unbeaten through 31 games in the Scottish Premier League.

They are now 23 points clear of their closest challengers.

Meantime, fellow Australian Scott MacDonald played a full game as Motherwell battled to a 0-0 draw with fellow strugglers Hamilton.
