A-League stars to attend Green Gully SSG Gala Day
FOOTBALL Federation Victoria is excited to announce that Melbourne Victory star Daniel Vasilevski and Adelaide United pair Travis Dodd and Lucas Pantelis will be attending the Small-Sided Games Gala Day at Green Gully Reserve, this Saturday, June 14.
The boys are delighted to be part of the football revolution and will be available on the day for questions, photos and autograph opportunities.
This news follows last week-s attendance by former Socceroo skipper Paul Wade at the Nunawading SSG Gala Day, which was a great success.
Nine clubs, 22 teams and 176 kids aged 7-8 years old participated in a number of SSG, along with a demonstration session performed by Wade.
“Small-Sided Games make the game of football a better experience for children,” Wade said.
Wade, Vasilevski, Dodd, and Pantelis are all SSG ambassadors and have been putting in hard yards promoting SSG at club level across the country.
This week's Gala Day is being held at Green Gully SC at Green Gully Reserve, Club House Place, Keilor Downs.
Daniel, Travis and Lucas will be at the event from 11.00am- 2.00pm.
