The Telstra Football Assistance Fund (TFAF) is open once again for 2008!
The TFAF is a grant scheme conducted by Telstra in conjunction with Football Federation Australia where allocations of football equipment are given to a number of clubs that apply. Each club is eligible to receive up to $1000 worth of equipment.
In 2007 there were 598 clubs who received equipment out of over 1000 clubs who applied.
The application window for 2008 opened on 1 June 2008 and will close at the end of the month on Monday 30th June.
Some of the items available in 2008 for clubs includes: • Footballs, • Portable goals, • Goal nets, • Water bottles and carriers, • Ball pumps, • Training bibs, • Equipment bags, • Training poles, hurdles and ladders, • Referees kits, • Air compressor.
The process to apply for the TFAF is simple. Just visit the website, fill out the application form, let us know why your clubs should receive the grant, select the equipment your club is in most need of and submit the application!
Be sure to coordinate this with your club first to ensure only 1 application per club is submitted.
