2007 NAB Volunteer Awards Nominations
Community groups have less than three weeks to nominate for the 2007 NAB Volunteer Awards and be in the running to share in $200,000 in awards prizes.
The 2007 NAB Volunteer Awards recognise best practice in volunteering. All volunteer groups, small and large, are encouraged to nominate themselves in one of two Awards categories. Small-Medium organisations (0-15 full-time-equivalent paid staff) This includes community groups that have no paid staff and operate entirely with volunteers. Large organisations (15 + full-time-equivalent paid staff).
State winners in each category will receive $10,000, with a national winner for each category taking an extra $10,000.
For a nomination form visit www.nab.com.au/volunteering or free call 1800 807 121 during business hours. Entries close Friday 8th June 2007.
This comes off the back of National Volunteers Week which was 14th to 20th May 2007. With an estimated 100,000 volunteers delivering football to the community, ranging from committee members, coaches, managers, equipment coordinators to canteen helpers, the sport would simply not survive without their dedication, organisation and genuine concern for the game.
FFA is acutely aware of the importance of volunteers to football and we will continue to work closely with our Member Federations in order to provide an appropriate level of support and recognition that will help make your respective roles easier.
