Melbourne Victory W-League players Lisa De Vanna and Emma Checker have been served with club-based sanctions under the Football Federation Australia (FFA) Code of Conduct following an incident between the two players last weekend.
De Vanna has been suspended for two matches and will be ineligible for Melbourne Victory’s match against Adelaide United in Adelaide on Wednesday night (October 29) and the clash with Perth Glory in Melbourne on Sunday (November 2).
Checker has been suspended for one match and will be ineligible to play Adelaide United in Adelaide on Wednesday night (October 29).
There will be no further comment made on the matter.
