Socceroos Abroad: Teague completes Belgium move, Yazbek faces top-of-the-table clash

Here's the preview for this weekend. 

Subway Socceroos

Starting in America, where Aiden O'Neill (cap #629) played all of New York City's 3-1 win over Toronto on Friday morning. The victory keeps the side inside the Championship playoff places. 

Also, Patrick Yazbek (cap #641) could start on Sunday at 10:30am (AEST) as Nashville host Philadelphia Union. Philadelphia sit at the top of MLS' Eastern division, two points ahead of Nashville, who are currently on a club-record 13-match unbeaten streak.

Kye Rowles' (cap #622) is likely to start on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST) when DC United face Atlanta United. 

Finally, Brad Smith (cap #575) could feature for Cincinnati against Chicago on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST). 

In Japan, Mitchell Duke (cap #559) should be in the Machida Zelvia squad in their home match against Shimizu S-Pulse on Saturday at 7:00pm (AEST). Machida sit in eighth place, six points away from an AFC Champions League Two place for next season. 

Elsewhere in Japan, Jason Geria (cap #586) could start on Saturday at 8:00pm (AEST) as Albirex Niigata travel to Kyoto Sanga. Geria's Albirex are four points away from safety. 

Finally, Thomas Deng (cap #598) is set to start for Yokohama F.Marinos as they take on Yokohama FC at the same time. 


In Korea's second tier, John Iredale (cap #640) might earn a start for Seoul E-Land in their away trip to Cheongju on Saturday at 8:00pm (AEST). 

In transfer news, Ryan Teague (cap #649) has signed for KV Mechelen in the Belgian Pro League. 

The 23-year-old penned a three-year contract with the option for a fourth after two strong seasons with Melbourne Victory.

Subway Olyroos

In MLS, Giuseppe Bovalina could be on the bench for Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday at 12:30pm (AEST) when they travel to LA Galaxy.
