Socceroos goalkeeper Mat Ryan is likely to miss a month of football after undergoing surgery on the knee injury which has ruled him out of Thursday night’s FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia qualifier against Bangladesh.
Ryan was scratched from the Socceroo 23-man squad on Monday afternoon after picking up a knock in Valencia’s 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Caruna in La Liga on the weekend.
