Open Training Session in Brisbane @ QSAC

Ahead of their international friendly against Brazil at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Thursday, 28 November, the CommBank Matildas are holding an open training session at Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre (QSAC) in the Main Stadium on Tuesday, 26 November. 

This event is free and open to the general public, with no pre-registration or ticket required to attend.  

The event gives the opportunity for fans to watch the CommBank Matildas go through their paces as they prepare for matches against both Brazil (Brisbane and Gold Coast) and Chinese Taipei (Melbourne and Geelong) during the November/December FIFA Women’s International Window. 

?Gates Open

Gates will open at 3.30pm local and training is scheduled to start at 4.00pm, running for approximately 90-minutes.  

Attending fans will be seated in the Eastern Stand of the Main Stadium for this training session, with numbers capped at 6,500 on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Fans will be able to gain entry to the Stadium via both Gates 4 and 5

?️ Parking

Extremely limited car parking available on-site for fans planning to drive to QSAC. Once the car parks are full, guests will be directed to park off-site.

There will be limited free car parking on site, where those driving are encouraged to enter the QSAC precinct via Kessels or Mains Road, Nathan, Mount Gravatt 4111. 

? Public Transport

Plan your trip to QSAC for our opening training session using Translink, fans are encouraged to use public transport to access the venue as there will be limited parking available at the ground.

No event-specific public transport is available for this event.

Limited concession or food stalls will be in operation at this event.
