Northern NSW Football has conducted draws for Preliminary Rounds One, Two and Three of the Hahn Australia Cup 2025.
The draw was broadcast live on Tuesday morning, with 50 community football teams from across the community involved in the draw, representing all seven NNSWF member zones.
The competition has again been split between a Northern Conference and Southern Conference. The Northern Conference features 21 clubs representing Football Far North Coast, North Coast Football, Football Mid North Coast and NNSWF – Northern Inland member zones.
The Southern Conference is made up of 29 community clubs from Hunter Valley Football, Macquarie Football and Newcastle Football member zones.
Northern Conference round two matches will be played by the weekend ending 16 February, with round three matches to be played by the weekend ending 23 February.
To eliminate the bye in the draw for round two of the Northern Conference, 11 clubs received a bye to go straight to round three, with the remaining 10 clubs facing off in round two.
In the Southern Conference, two clubs will be required to play in round one to eliminate any byes with 28 clubs drawn for round two.
The 10 HIT106.9 Northern League One clubs enter the competition in round three while the 12 NPL Men’s NNSW clubs will enter in round four.
NNSWF General Manager Football Operations Liam Bentley said he looked forward to another exciting year of the competition.
“The Hahn Australia Cup is such an important part of the national football calendar so it’s wonderful that we’ve had such great commitment again from the clubs across northern NSW,” Bentley said.
“We’ve had some incredible moments and memories watching our teams play each other as well as against the country’s best on the national stage.”
