Perth schools had their first taste of the Cottee-s schools 5 a side Football days this week. Schools from around Central Perth came along to the festival of football at Gibbney reserve to experience all the fun, skills and thrills of playing against other schools in round robin games. On a beautiful spring day, the children played games, enjoyed juggling and penalty competitions and got to mingle with children from other local schools from around the area. The competition winners got presented with prizes from local Perth Glory A league player Hayden Doyle.
“Perth Glory are very supportive of this great FFA program and you can see how much the children are enjoying the day and getting a great experience from the superb set up” commented Doyle
At the end of the day each child left with a show bag full of Cottee-s goodies and posters from Perth Glory men and women teams. Teachers from the schools also enjoyed the day and commented on how well it had went.
