Impending stats, facts and trivia: In only the club's seventh home match for the season, the Wellington Phoenix should surpass the aggregate home crowd for all New Zealand Knights home matches over both the 2005/06 and 2006/07 Hyundai A-League seasons. After six home games in 2007/08, the Phoenix have attracted a cumulative 66,777 people to the Westpac Stadium, which is just 6,325 people short of the total 73,102 people that attended all 21 New Zealand Knights home matches. It is also expected that the Phoenix will again break the New Zealand domestic football crowd record of 14,421. A record which the Phoenix currently hold courtesy of their crowd for Round 1 Hyundai A-League 2007/08 against the Melbourne Victory. The record crowd for a football match in New Zealand was 31,000 was for the World Cup qualifier between the All Whites and Kuwait in Auckland in 1981.

Impending stats, facts and trivia Having not lost any of their previous six away matches, Sydney FC will be aiming to become only the third Hyundai A-League club to record an streak of seven away matches without defeat. Impending stats, facts and trivia Perth's Jamie Coyne is set to become the Glory's second player to notch up 50 Hyundai A-League appearances for the club, following the 50th Hyundai A-League appearance for Jamie Harnwell earlier in the season. Defender Coyne had a stint at England's West Ham and also played with Perth in the old NSL before becoming an inaugural member of the Glory's Hyundai A-League squad in 2005.
