* the Hyundai A-League attracted its three millionth spectator in Round 11 (Adelaide United v Queensland Roar) of the 2007/08 season, ie. After just two and a half seasons

* after three home matches, the Wellington Phoenix (38,048) already exceeded the aggregate crowd of the New Zealand Knights- entire 2006/07 season aggregate home crowd (11 games, 34,016 aggregate)

* Melbourne Victory became the first Hyundai A-League club to attract an aggregate crowd of one million spectators (home & away matches) in its Round 10 match against Newcastle Jets

* Matt Thompson-s 77th minute goal for the Newcastle Jets against Wellington Phoenix in Round 3 was the Hyundai A-League-s 500th all-time goal
