CommBank Matildas Squad Update - 3rd April 2025

CommBank Matildas Ellie Carpenter and Hayley Raso will not participate in the two-match series against Korea Republic during the March/April FIFA Women’s International Window.

Following routine evaluation on arrival in Australia, Raso (thigh) and Carpenter (ankle) were medically ruled out and will commence work on their return-to-play plan. Both players will depart the Sydney base camp in the coming days to continue rehab in their club environment.

Football Australia are currently awaiting scans for Mackenzie Arnold (arm) after the goalkeeper was unable to complete Wednesday afternoon’s training session.

Canberra United FC goalkeeper Sally James, and CommBank Young Matildas duo Alexia Apostolakis (Melbourne City FC) and Tegan Bertolissio (Canberra United FC) have been called into join the Australian camp in a train on capacity.

Australia will take on the Taeguk Ladies at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Friday, April 4, kicking off at 8:00pm (AEDT). McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle will host the final match of the series on Monday, April 7 (7:30pm AEST).

Australia and Korea Republic in Sydney is supported proudly by the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
