Adelaide Hills Cottees Schools 5-a-Side Gala Day

Cottee’s – ‘that I like best’ have proven to be the favourite – yet again.

Cottee-s - ‘that I like best- have proven to be the favourite - yet again. This time, the Adelaide Hills township of Woodside became the talk of the region when the Cottee-s Schools 5-a-side Gala Day provided students from local and surrounding schools the opportunity to participate in small sided football. With four seasons experienced in the one day, the children, despite the weather elements had a “ball” of a time.

Current U17 National team member and Adelaide United W-League player - Ashlee Faul, also experienced the fun and excitement of the Cottee-s Schools 5-a-side Gala Day, on a number of occasions providing coaching tips which produced immediate improvement in the players, especially in the penalty shootouts.

Thanks to Cathie Atkins for organising the venue to host the Cottee-s Schools 5-a-side Gala Day while thanks also to the Adelaide Hills Hawks Soccer Club for allowing the event to be staged at their home - “The Hawks Nest”.
